Robert W. Korba
Robert (Bob) is the CEO of Sammons Enterprises, a position he has held for the last 20 years. Sammons Enterprises is a multi-faceted holding corporation that owns and operates businesses across a diverse range of industries. Headquartered in Dallas, Texas, with assets approaching $40 billion, Sammons ranks among the largest privately owned companies in the world.
With more than 30 years devoted to Sammons, Bob was the company’s General Counsel prior to becoming the CEO. Bob joined Sammons as Associate General Counsel in late 1973 after three years of service in the U.S. Army serving as a 1st Lieutenant in military intelligence.
Bob earned a BA and JD from the University of Nebraska. Holding numerous civic and business distinctions, Mr. Korba serves as Chairman of Sponsor Investments, LLC, and director of Guggenheim Group, LLC, Vinson Process Controls Company, and Isecuretrac. He is currently a member of the Dallas Citizens Council and the Executive Committee of the University of Nebraska College and Law Alumni Council.
Bryan Korba
Bryan is the Managing Partner of Y Street Ventures, a position he has held since the creation of YSV in 2000. Bryan is responsible for managing the investments of YSV as well as evaluating investment opportunities. Through YSV, Bryan has been involved in a number of transactions in a wide range of industries as both an investor and member of the management team. Prior to Y Street Ventures, Bryan was an Investment Analyst with Transamerica Invest in Toronto, Canada where he was responsible for managing and evaluating private equity investments.
Bryan earned a MBA in finance from Texas Christian University and a BBA in economics from the University of North Texas. He is currently a board member of the University of North Texas Venture Fund. |
